Matt Miller is an American football wide receiver for the Boise State Broncos football team. He stands between 6'3" and 6'4" tall and weighs 215 pounds. Matt Miller is well known for being named a second-team Freshman All-American from ''Yahoo! Sports'', and was named one of the members of the first-team Freshman All-American honors given by the Football Writers Association of America. He was also the Gatorade player of the year for high school football in montana for capital high school.〔 Miller is a native to Montana and joined Boise State’s football team in 2010. Miller has played many different positions over the span of his football career, which includes running back, safety, punt returner, linebacker, cornerback, wildcat quarterback, and receiver.〔 == Background == Miller was born on May 1, 1991 and grew up in Montana's capital city, Helena. He is the son of Scott and Carolyn, and the brother of two sisters, Mary and Lauren, and a brother, Drew.〔 Miller stated in an interview, “I was definitely Bruin born, Bruin bred," a part of the chant from Capital High School where he played football all four years. Athleticism was in Miller's genes; his father, Scott, and brother, Drew, won the Capital Championship when they attended the high school.〔 Miller followed their footsteps by winning the championship three of the four years he attended Capital.〔 Growing up, Miller was encouraged to be active; he enjoyed football, basketball,golf, and track.〔 His family would attend the football games at Carroll, the local college, and Capital’s which contributed to his interest in football.〔 Matt's great-uncle is the former Bishop of the Diocese of Helena and archbishop emeritus of the Archdiocese of Seattle Raymond Hunthausen.
